Eberle Design Inc. Employees Complete CPR and AED Training

Each year, more than more than 350,000 people in the U.S. experience a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital, according to the American Heart Association. Unless cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is performed and an automated external defibrillator (AED) is used to shock the heart, a person can die within minutes. This month several members of the Eberle Design Inc. management team and staff successfully completed CPR and AED training.

Conducted by an American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructor at the EDI office in Phoenix, employees received initial as well as recertification training in basic life support, first aid, CPR, and how and when to use an AED.

“It’s important to recognize the warning signs of a heart attack and know how to help someone,” said Dr. Bill Sowell. “Quickly responding with CPR and using an AED can save a person’s life.”

Congratulations to the EDI team!
