Access, Safety and Mobility Innovations Take Center Stage at the ITS World Congress

The Monitor – November 2018

Eberle Design, Inc. and Reno A&E extend a sincere thank you for the support provided by ITS America in hosting us within the U.S. Pavilion at September’s ITS World Congress in Copenhagen. The U.S. Pavilion, a shared presence between ITS America and the U.S. Department of Transportation, was a gathering place for many in the ITS community to learn more about the latest ITS research currently funded and coordinated by the ITS Joint Program Office, as well as learn more about transportation technologies from ITS America’s members and partners. We were excited to join fellow participants Econolite, Iteris, Savari, PlanetM and Together for Safer Roads inside the pavilion.

Brian Calley, Lieutenant Governor of the State of Michigan, Carla Sands, US Ambassador to Denmark, and Shailen Bhatt, ITS America President and CEO were just a few of the distinguished guests who stopped by to learn more about the latest advanced traffic data aggregation, vehicle detection and signal monitoring solutions from Eberle Design, Inc. and Reno A&E.

This World Congress was one of the most productive in which we have participated. And, for the gracious hospitality from our friends at the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Congress’ organizers – ITS America, ERTICO and ITS Asia Pacific – we say mange tak!

We look forward to continuing the ITS dialogue next year at the ITS World Congress in Singapore.
