MMU-16LE SmartMonitor™ LCD Series
The MMU-16LE series Malfunction Management Unit (MMU) exceeds all the requirements set forth in the NEMA Standard TS2-2003, Part 4. The model MMU-16LE includes two large area Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) for a continuous Full Intersection display. A separate graphical LCD provides a menu driven interface to status, signal voltages, configuration, event logs, and the integrated context sensitive Help System. The built-in Setup Wizard ensures that the enhanced monitor programming is done quickly and accurately, even by a novice. The industry first Diagnostic Wizard automatically pinpoints malfunctioning signals and offers trouble shooting advice. An EIA232 port or Ethernet port is used to communicate with a Personal Computer using field proven EDI ECcom™ software. Monitor status, event logs, and Signal Sequence History logs are stored in nonvolatile memory for diagnostic and archival purposes.

MMU-16E Series
The MMU-16E series Malfunction Management Units (MMU) exceed all the requirements set forth in the NEMA Standard TS2-2003 , Part 4 (TS2-1992 has been revised!). These units are intended to provide basic conflict and voltage monitoring for NEMA TS-2 traffic controller assemblies while maintaining downward compatibility with NEMA TS-1 assemblies. The model MMU-16E includes a RYG Full Intersection display along with an RS232 port which is used to communicate with a Personal Computer using EDI ECcom™ software. Monitor status, event logs, and Signal Sequence History logs are stored in nonvolatile memory for diagnostic and archival purposes.

2010 Series Signal Monitors
2010ECL Series
The model 2010ECL is a 210ECL monitor configured for operation with a 2070 Controller Unit. It provides all the features of the 210ECL model as well as minimum flash capabilities for 2070 boot capability. The 2010ECL series monitor is compatible with 170, 179 and 2070 Controller Units. It is a recommended replacement for the 210E and 210ECL monitor in new installations using 170 or 2070 Controller Units. Two modes of Flashing Yellow Arrow PPLT support are provided. The model 2010ECLip provides a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port.
2018ECL Series
The model 2018ECL is a 2010ECL monitor that provides 18 channels of monitoring. It provides all the features of the 210ECL model as well as minimum flash capabilities for 2070 boot capability. The 2018ECL series monitor is compatible with 170, 179 and 2070 Controller Units. It is a recommended replacement for the 210E and 210ECL monitor in new installations using 170 or 2070 Controller Units. Two modes of Flashing Yellow Arrow PPLT support are provided. 2018KCL Series
The model 2018KCL is an 18 channel version of the 2010ECL monitor. A removable Datakey memory device contains all the monitor set-up information and completely eliminates the need for a diode Program Card, soldered jumpers and DIP switches. Two modes of Flashing Yellow Arrow PPLT support are provided. The model 2018KCLip provides a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port.

ITS Cabinet Signal Monitors
CMU-212 Series
The EDI CMU-212 Cabinet Monitor Unit is intended to operate with the AMU-214 Auxiliary Monitor Unit to form a compact and modular cabinet malfunction management system for the ITS Cabinet. The CMU-212 functions as the main cabinet fault monitoring component. It offers the broadest fault coverage of any monitoring system and incorporates full event logging and status reporting, providing the signal technician with powerful monitoring and trouble-shooting tools to ensure that cabinet malfunctions are detected, diagnosed, and repaired with confidence.
The CMU-212 meets all requirements of the ASHTO/ITE/NEMA Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Standard Specification for Roadside Cabinets Version 01.02.15, as well as the Caltrans TEES, August 2002 requirements.

AMU-214 Series
The EDI AMU-214 Auxiliary Monitor Unit is intended to operate with the CMU-212 Cabinet Monitor Unit to form a compact and modular cabinet malfunction management system for the ITS Cabinet. The AMU-214 provides the voltage and current data acquisition function of the cabinet monitoring system. Up to four AMU-214 units can be installed in ten different cabinet configurations with each CMU-212.
The AMU-214 meets all requirements of the ASHTO/ITE/NEMA Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Standard Specification for Roadside Cabinets Version 01.02.15, as well as the Caltrans TEES, August 2002 requirements.

MonitorKey™ Programming Tool
The EDI MonitorKey™ CMU Data Key Programming Tool provides the programming interface between a Personal Computer and the Data Key used to store configuration parameters in the CMU-212. The compact tool connects to a serial port of the PC and uses the MonitorKey™ Windows based software to read, write, and verify the contents of the Data Key. Software Wizards are provided to simplify the initial setup of the parameter database and check for consistency errors.
