The Model 242E DC Isolator meets all Model 242 requirements of Caltrans TSCES 1989 including TEES 2009 Chapter 1, and is plug-in compatible with a standard Model 242 DC Isolator.

The enhanced Model 242E adds additional Fault Output indicators to alert a technician to problems with the Model 242E isolator outputs, cabinet wiring or associated Controller Unit inputs. Three separate Input Pulse filter settings provide a mechanism to screen out transient input pulses that may be the result of noise conditions or signal bounce.

The Model 242-NY DC Isolator meets all Model 242 requirements of New York State Transportation Management Equipment Specifications.

The Model 2424-NY is powered by 24 VDC. Each channel of the Model 242-NY provides input hysterisis and digital filtering to qualify the input signal.
